Which assets and temperatures to monitor
We start by listing the equipment that matters most: rooms and cabinets holding valuable or sensitive stock. For each one we agree the temperature range and when an alert should be sent.

Commercial refrigeration
Wireless temperature monitoring keeps a record of your refrigeration temperatures and alerts you when something drifts out of range.
Airmax installs and sets up wireless temperature monitoring for commercial refrigeration in Melbourne. Sensors in coolrooms, freezers and fridges send readings to a system that records them and sends alerts when temperatures go out of range. What alerts and records are available depends on the system chosen.
We work across Melbourne and regional Victoria. Every job starts with a written quote.

Sensor position affects what the readings tell you. A sensor near the door reads differently from one near the evaporator or in the product zone. We place sensors where they give a useful reading, and confirm the monitoring system suits your equipment.
Wireless sensors need a reliable connection to a gateway, and the gateway needs power and internet access. We check signal strength on site. Alerts can go to the people who need them, such as the manager on duty, by the methods the chosen system supports.
Once installed, we test the sensors and alerts and set up user access to the readings and records. We show staff how to view temperatures and respond to alerts.
Monitoring tells you when something is wrong; it doesn't fix the refrigeration. For that, see coolroom and freezer room repairs and commercial refrigeration repairs. If power or connectivity is interrupted, readings and alerts may be delayed, so it's important to know how the system behaves in that case. Sensors and batteries also need checking from time to time.
Send the site, equipment, make and model, the fault or project goal and access details.
We inspect the equipment and site, identify the assets involved and note access and operating constraints.
You get a written scope and quotation for approval, including exclusions and timing.
We carry out the approved work, coordinated around your trading hours and site rules.
We test and commission the equipment, report what we did and note any follow-up.

That depends on the monitoring system chosen. Common options are SMS, email or app notifications. We set up alerts to go to the people you nominate.
Readings and alerts may be delayed until the connection or power is restored. Some systems store readings locally and upload them later. We explain how the chosen system behaves before you commit.
