A coolroom holds chilled stock above freezing. A freezer room holds frozen stock well below it and needs thicker insulated panels, a heated door frame and a refrigeration system built for low temperatures. Some sites combine both, with the freezer accessed through the coolroom.
Room size comes from what you store, how much, and how it's handled: shelving, pallets or trolleys. We plan the layout, panel thickness, floor, door type and size, and lighting so the room works for daily use.
The refrigeration system is sized to the room, the stock load and how often the door is opened. We plan where the condensing unit goes, the evaporator position, and the controller. Wireless temperature monitoring can be added to alert you if the room drifts out of range.
We assess the site for space, floor, access and power, then quote. Construction follows in stages: panels and door, refrigeration, electrical connection, then commissioning, where we pull the room down to temperature and check it holds.
